St. Jude parishioners, families and friends, St. Jude Romain Catholic Church  (via the St Jude Rosary and Altar Society) is now registered with the AmazonSmile program.

AmazonSmile makes a donation to St. Jude for every qualified product purchase made through the AmazonSmile website (smile.amazon.com) by customers who identify "St Jude Rosary and Alter Society" as their preferred charitable organization (yes "Alter" is misspelled, but that is how it is regsitered with the IRS).   Since many of us use Amazon for our online purchases, this is an excellent way to add to our parish support at no additional cost.

How Does AmazonSmile Work?

When first visiting AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), customers are prompted to select a charitable organization from almost one million eligible organizations (the link above allows you to shortcut the initital registration, jumping you to the St. Jude registration).  In order to browse or shop at AmazonSmile, customers must first select a charitable organization.  For eligible purchases made through AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to the customer’s selected charitable organization.  You can shop at AmazonSmile from your web browser, on your computer, or mobile device.  Set up St. Jude as your designated organization, then simply go to smile.amazon.com to start shopping.  
 
Can I Use My Existing Amazon Account on AmazonSmile?

Yes!  You use the same account on Amazon.com and AmazonSmile.  Your Shopping Cart, Wish List, Wedding or Baby Registry, and other account settings are also the same.
